Details: The Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge is part of the chain of National Wildlife Refuges extending along the gulf coast of Texas and Louisiana. Established in 1963, it's 34,000 acres of coastal marshes and prairies is home to migratory birds, alligators, bobcats, and other wildlife. Events includes walks, a family fishing day, and an Anahuac Wildlife Expo.
