Bird Watching Destination: Polliwog Park

Details: At 18 acres, this is the largest park in the South Bay area. The focal point of this park is a large pond bordered on one side by a natural wildlife refuge, home to migratory birds and an occasional raccoon or opossum. Dogs are permitted along designated pathways parallel with Begg Pool and soccer field.

Birds: Ducks, geese, seagulls, sparrows.

Note: Bird listings may include resident and migratory birds and common and rare sightings.
