Details: The Current and Jacks Fork Rivers make up the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, the first national park area to protect a wild river system. The Riverways is home to the rare Swainson’s warbler, the mighty bald eagles, the belted kingfisher, herons, and hawks.

Birds: Grebes, Cormorants, Herons, Waterfowl, Raptors, Game Birds, Shorebirds, Doves, Cuckoos, Owls, Goatsuckers, Swifts, Hummers, Woodpeckers, Flycatchers, Larks, Swallows, Jays, Crows, Chickadees, Nuthatchers, Wrens, Mimic Thrushes, Thrushes, Gnatcatchers, Kinglets, Waxwings, Starlings, Shrikes, Vireos, Wood Warblers, Weaver Finches, Blackbirds, Orioles, Tanagers, Finches, Sparrows.
