Details

The Great Florida Birding Trail is a program of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, supported in part by the Florida Department of Transportation and the Wildlife Foundation of Florida. It is a 2000-mile highway trail which unifies a total of 446 existing and new birding sites throughout Florida.

Birds

More than 470 species of birds can be found including the rare Florida Burrowing Owl, the Florida Scrub-Jay, and the Snail Kite.

Bird listings may include resident and migratory birds and common and rare sightings.
