The Moraine Ecology Trail hosts flocks of migrant bird and resident breeders. Rusty Blackbird (uncommon), Common Nighthawk, Brown-headed Cowbird, and Northern Flicker (all rare) have been seen from the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor center parking lots.Birds
