Details

The Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail boasts well-known coastal birding sites with boardwalks, parking pullouts, and observation platforms, as well as, off-the-beaten-path local bird watching destinations. Local birds light up area trees with their vibrant colors. CAUTION: Watch out for the alligators.

Heron Rookeries, Egrets, Herons and Roseate Spoonbills, Red-Cockaded Woodpeckers, Green Jay, Great Kiskadee, Plain Chachalaca.
