Details

Located near Palm Springs, in the San Jacinto mountains of Southern California, Idyllwild is adjacent to California State Wilderness area and offers 275 miles of hiking trails. Dogs are allowed on the Forest Service Wilderness trails, but not in the State Park areas.

Pinyon Jays, Steller�s Jays, Western Scrub-Jays, Dark-eyed Juncos, Mountain Chickadees, Common Ravens, Spotted and California Towhees, Red-breasted Sapsucker, Williamson�s Sapsucker, Acorn Woodpeckers, Nuttall�s Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Northern Flicker, Pygmy Nuthatches, White-breasted Nuthatches, Western Bluebirds, Mountain Chickadees.
